Be Your Own Chef
Both the Lodge and Cabin feature fully equipped with conventional kitchens, including a stovetop, oven, fridge, sink with running water, pots and pans, plates, bowls, mugs, cups, and silverware. The Lodge also includes a small dishwasher, which should be used only during daylight hours, as the property is off-grid and powered by solar energy. Conventional kitchen are provided to guests at free of charge.
Groceries
Most of our guests bring groceries to the lodge/cabin. If you need to get more groceries during your stay, you can find what you need in Mar-Val in Groveland which is about 21 miles away. Please see the grocery store details below.

We currently don’t have restaurants on site at Kowana Valley, however there are diners in the town nearby. Here are some of popular restaurants in the area*. If you are coming from Coulterville area or going to Yosemite, you will pass some of those restaurants on the way. There are also restaurants/food option at the Yosemite Valley.

In addition to the conventional kitchen provided by each cabin and lodge for free to our guests, the Mountain Lodge is equipped with a full function commercial kitchen. The Commercial kitchen provides a stainless steel commercial sink, commercial refrigerator, six stovetop burners, an oven and more countertop space and many other useful utensils and cookware.
Commercial kitchen can be offered to our guests for an additional fee. If commercial kitchen is needed for your stay, please contact us prior your stay to arrange.
